Cintiq 12wx

Well, I got a brand new cintiq 12wx yesterday! And it's epic, just one problem....why does Photoshop CS5 have to frigging lag with it?!
Problem 1: Photoshop CS5 Extended (x64 bit) does not recognize there is pressure sensitive tablet in use. But the x32 bit Photoshop Extended has no problem see it! What the hell? And for some reason I can't get the update to update Photoshop...
Problem 2: How do I fix the lag? Photoshop Elements 7 has no problem, smooth as ink, but CS5 likes to lag and crap out while drawing with the Cintiq, that didn't occur with the wacom pen& touch tablet. I've already maxed out the memory available for CS5, the default
